Production scanning in Colour, Gray or black/white at the same high speed is but one major strength of DpuScan. Besides data entry via user-defined dialogs and the quality control of scanned paper batches, it is also possible to do image enhancement at the same time, and to recognize barcodes, patchcodes and any text. Images are saved and sorted automatically through extracted document information.

DpuScan is a powerful scanning program. As standard its Basic version can comfortably deal with complete batches at full scanner speed. DpuScan offers all required functions for scanner setting, display setting, and saving of the scanned images.

Furthermore, barcodes can be recognized, individual images can be modified for enhancement, data can be added manually, and with the integrated OCR module, scanned texts can be recognized and saved.

It makes no difference whether the documents are colour or black/white. By means of the filter technology integrated into the Gold-Version, it becomes possible to generate additional black/white images from the colour image, where unwanted background colours can be suppressed.
